Medela SoftFit breastshield
The Medela SoftFit breastshield is out of production. The PersonalFit M (24mm) funnel is now supplied with all new Medela Swing and FreeStyle breast pumps. The supplied connector will work with Mini-Electric, Swing & Pump in Style Advanced breastpumps, but not the Freestyle. FreeStyle owners will need to use their existing FreeStyle connector or buy an additional one.
The Medela SoftFit breastshield was supplied as standard equipment with the Freestyle, Swing, Pump in Style Advanced and Harmony breast pumps.
The SoftFit breastshield was fitted directly to the Freestyle connector and Harmony / Swing / Pump in Style connector.
Could also be fitted to the adapter supplied with two-part Medela PersonalFit breastshields.
Was supplied as a non-sterile spare part. The softer plastics are more prone to deformation at high temperatures, we recommend 'cold water' sterilisation methods for the SoftFit breastshield.
