Standard delivery options
Orders placed by 2.00pm (UK time) Monday-Friday are normally despatched on the same day - we will telephone you if we are unable to do so for any reason. We cannot ship orders at weekends.
Service times are estimates - the only 'guaranteed' services are by Royal Mail Special Delivery. The guarantees cover the shipping cost only.
Special Delivery (Mon-Fri) and Parcelforce 24 orders placed after 2pm on Thursday and before 2pm on Friday will normally arrive on the following Monday. Neither method will arrive on Saturday.
To calculate the delivery costs and services availiable to your area:
- Add your item to the shopping cart (add to basket)
- When prompted, set your location
- Choose your delivery service from the drop-down menu in the cart
- Cart will update automatically
UK customers are offered a range of services from Royal Mail
Eire/EU customers may choose Airmail (priced by weight) or DPD Courier (fixed price)
Destinations outside of the EU* are served via Airmail (non-EU orders with delivery charges exceeding GBP 46.00 may ship via UPS Express due to Airmail weight restrictions).
*UK sales taxes (VAT) are removed from orders destined outside of the EU, prices in the cart are automatically reduced.

All references to despatch and delivery times exclude Saturday and Sunday.
Customers are reminded that premium delivery services such as 'next day by 9.30' will not be fully refunded in the event that the customer changes their mind and no longer wants the product. Indeed, if standard delivery for that product is £0.00, then the shipping refund will be £0.00.

To comply with banking guidelines, some deliveries may need to be upgraded to a 'signed-for' service at our expense.
- UK Parcelforce 24/48 priced from £9.95 - £0.00 per delivery dependent upon location and order value.
Parcelforce 24 has a delivery aim of one working day and a fixed price of £9.95 is available to England, Wales and most of Scotland. Our order cut-off time for Parcelforce consignments is currently 1pm. Orders placed between 1pm and 2pm (weekdays) will go by Interlink or UPS.
- EU DPD Courier - from 2 working days - prices from £18.00 per delivery
Please ensure that someone intends to be availiable to receive the package at your delivery address - it must be signed for.
- EU Airmail - from 5 working days - prices from £2.95 according to weight
- UPS Worldwide Express - from 2 working days - priced according to weight/volume.

Standard UK mainland shipping is capped at £6.95.
Delivery method is by Royal Mail 1st class.
A choice of two further 'guaranteed' next working day services, by 1.00pm and by 9.30am are also offered. These services are not available to some parts of Scotland, we will telephone you if this is the case.
Unless otherwise stated, we do not normally make goods available for purchase via our
website unless we have the item(s) in stock and ready
to ship. If we make a mistake, we will telephone* you and tell you.
(*under no circumstances will your contact telephone number be sold to tele-marketing companies - however it can be needed by us if there is a query with your order or if our couriers cannot find you).
Our delivery charges take into account: method, weight, volume, value & destination.
EU rates vary by consignment methods and distance, but delivery to France for example is capped at GBP 20.00 inc VAT regardless of consignment weight for the fast, trackable, 2-3 day DPD service.
Orders destined for countries outside the EU are shipped by Airmail (with additional insurance when necessary), or UPS courier where the shipping weight exceeds 2kg.

From 5/9/09 all UK specification electrical goods delivered to continental Europe will be supplied with a free 7.5A UK 3-pin to Continental 2-pin "Schuko" style adapter worth GBP 2.95!
Customers may choose the following delivery methods
Royal Mail - UK orders with a total value of less than £46.00 and weight less than 2kg may be sent by Royal Mail 1st Class post - delivery aim 1-2 working days within the UK, or Airmail (Small Packets) overseas. Delivery times are likely to be longer during periods of high demand such as December.
Orders with a total value more than £46.00, or weight exceeding 2kg may require a signature upon delivery.
Parcelforce Express 24 - delivery aim 1-2 working days for most UK mainland addresses. The majority will arrive within one working day.
Parcelforce 48 - delivery aim normally 2-3 working days for heavier items (2kg+) to Highland, Northern Ireland & UK Offshore Islands. This service may be withdrawn at short notice during peak periods or adverse weather.
DPD Geopost Overland Shipping - delivery aim normally
2-3 working days for Ireland (South) and 2-5 working
days for most other European destinations (our preferred
EU courier with online tracking).
The main exception is Greece which has a 7-9 working day delivery aim. This service may be withdrawn at short notice during peak periods or adverse weather.
UPS / TNT - delivery aim normally 1-2 working days UK, 3-7 working days EU (where DPD is unavailable), 3-14 working days Worldwide. if an order is destined outside of the EU, and weighs over 2kg, then it will normally ship by UPS/TNT.
Royal Mail Special Delivery - guaranteed by next working day by 1.00pm (Monday-Friday) - for items up to 10kg - availiable to 99% of UK addresses. This service may be withdrawn at short notice during peak periods or adverse weather.
Royal Mail Special Delivery - guaranteed by 1.00pm Saturday - for items up to 10kg - availiable to 99% of UK addresses. This service may be withdrawn at short notice during peak periods or adverse weather.
Royal Mail International Signed For - normally approx. 7-10 days (EU) or 7-21 days (Italy) - lower value and/or under 2kg. Delivery times are likely to be longer during periods of high demand such as December.
We do not use Second Class post, Royal Mail Tracked, Royal Mail Standard Parcels or Surface Mail - these services are relatively slow.
Where a guaranteed delivery service is purchased, our guarantee extends to shipping cost refund only. We cannot be held accountable for consequential losses.
An Ameda Lactaline Electric Breast Pump will normally be delivered to most UK Mainland addresses in 1 working day if ordered by 2.00pm. To Northern Ireland, Offshore & Highland destinations in 1-2 working days, rest of Europe in 2-5 working days, rest of World 7-14 working days.
Please call us on 0121 580 9853 for confirmation of delivery time if your order is particularly urgent - we have a number of options for urgent/deadline deliveries if necessary.
As retailers, it is our responsibility to ensure that you have received the goods that you have paid for within a reasonable time period.
However, provided that we have consigned your order promptly, we cannot be held accountable for delays in transit due to interruptions of the courier's normal service (such as vehicle breakdowns/industrial action/inclement weather/system breakdowns etc).
The only exception would be if the package is insured against consequential loss for delivery after a certain date. email us to arrange the service.
All orders are insured by ourselves against loss/damage in transit.
In the unlikely event that you suspect that your order has been damaged in transit, you must inform us within 24 hours of receipt of goods so that we can initiate a claim and rectify the matter for you. Please retain all external packaging - the courier's representative will need to inspect the item.

Online fraud and theft prevention
Credit card fraud is not a 'victimless' crime
Occasionally a transaction will trigger an alert from our credit card processing company. We will normally make contact with the buyer before sending the goods.
In these circumstances, if the customer has provided a false telephone number or non-working email address, we have little choice but to hold the order until contact is made.
