We are aware that some US versions of the Purely Yours Ultra include the additional flanges, however, customers will note that this is reflected in the US pricing.

The Ameda Lactaline system.

The piston technology developed and incorporated in all Ameda electric breast pumps allows mothers the ability to mimic their baby’s nursing pattern in a smooth rhythmic fashion.

In use, the Ameda Lactaline Personal (known in the USA as the Purely Yours) compares very favourably with other brands of double electric breast pump. Independent advice and suction/cycle comparisons may be viewed online on this web page by Lactation Education Resources, USA.

For maximum flexibility, this breast pump can be also powered by six AA alkaline batteries or the optional 12v car adapter.

As with most pumps that we are aware of, loss of suction can occur when the collection set valves (Ameda breast pump & Lansinoh breast pump) or diaphragms (Medela breast pumps) wear out. These fragile, but inexpensive parts will normally last around 2-3 months in normal use.

All Ameda electric breast pumps supplied by pumps4mums will include additional spare valves and an extra diaphragm.
