Ameda / ARDO Hygienikit valve
Pack of 3 white valves for the Ameda Hygienikit and Ameda Eco breastmilk collection sets.
These spare parts are supplied non-sterile, shipped in a box to avoid damage in transit.
Overview
In order for your Ameda breast pump to operate effectively and maintain correct levels of suction, it is essential that this part is kept clean and in good condition.
The most common reason for 'uneven' pumping' or 'loss of suction' is a worn or torn valve (see our troubleshooting guide).
The normal life of this valve is around 2-3 months, however, they are easily damaged or lost. We strongly advise all Ameda breast pump owners to keep a few spares.
This part must not be microwaved. Ameda / ARDO recommend steam, boiling or cold-water sterilisation methods.
