Ameda / ARDO Eco polypropylene breastshield and bottle

Pack of 1 Eco polypropylene breastshield (pump body) supplied complete with polypropylene bottle for the Ameda Hygienikit 17111UKP, Ameda Hygienikit 17111UK and Ameda Eco breastmilk collection sets.
These items are supplied as non-sterile spare parts. They must be sterilised prior to use.
Features
The Ameda Eco breastshield is a direct replacement part for the breastshield supplied with the Ameda Hygienikits included with the Ameda Lactaline Personal dual electric breast pump and the Ameda Elite 'Hospital' breast pump.
The Ameda Eco breastshield is manufactured to the same dimensions as the standard 'clear' polycarbonate breastshield (25mm nipple tunnel which research suggests will suit the majority of breastfeeding mums) supplied with all Ameda breast pumps, but is made from BPA-Free polypropylene.
Accepting your existing Ameda valves, caps, tubing and bottles, the plastics employed in this latest version of the Ameda breastshield make it far less prone to accidental damage and 'cracking' around the screw-thread, often occurring when the original version is mis-handled or overtightened onto the bottle.
The bottle is the latest Ameda BPA-Free polypropylene version. The bottle is marked from 25ml-125ml (approx 4.5oz max). It will fit the bottle holders built into the top of the Ameda Lactaline dual electric breast pump. Plain bottle cap included. The Ameda Eco bottle is available separately here.
In addition, both the Eco breastshield and Eco bottle are autoclavable.
The Ameda Eco breastshield is also compatible with all standard 'narrow-necked' bottles, such as Ameda, Axifeed, Lansinoh or Medela.
Genuine Ameda parts.
The breastshield is NOT compatible with the Ameda One-Handed Manual Breast Pump or converter.
The diaphragm will sit directly on top of a small ledge inside the daiphragm chamber of this breastshield. It will bend slightly, but this has no measurable effect on performance. if you experience loss of suction with an Eco breastshield, please refer to our troubleshooting guide.

This part must not be microwaved. Ameda / ARDO recommend steam, boiling or cold-water sterilisation methods.
