About pumps4mums
Incorporated in 2005, Richard Cassidy Ltd is an established mail-order business based a few miles to the north of Birmingham, close to M6 Jct 7.
The business philosophy is simple: best products, competitive pricing and fast, reliable and insured delivery. We do not normally make stock available for purchase unless we are able to despatch the goods immediately.
Of course, products can and do go wrong, and if this happens we pledge to sort it out for you as fast as is humanly possible.
Our product range is managed by Janette Cassidy, a Registered General Nurse of 21 years experience, holding qualifications as Specialist Practitioner, Health Visitor, District Nurse and a BSc(Hons) in Public Health.
Janette is a member of the Royal College of Nursing, Association of Breastfeeding Mothers and the National Childbirth Trust.
Janette is able to offer the highest quality one-to-one product support and advice.
Richard's background is retail and field sales.
Richard worked for Jessop of Leicester Limited in the '80s and 90's, starting as a junior salesman at their Birmingham shop and rising through the ranks, managing their Gloucester shop and eventually holding the post of UK support manager.
Richard then spent a few a years in field sales before retraining as a professional photographer. Then came Richard's eBay venture in 2001 (approaching 18,000 unique customers and still going strong), followed by pumps4mums.

Our experience
Janette and I are parents to two girls - Alexandra 14 and Molly 5, both of whom were born 8 weeks pre-term due to mum's pre-eclampsia.

Like many early babies, our children suffered many set-backs, but thankfully they recovered thanks to the excellent care by the Doctors and Nurses at the Special Care Baby Unit within Good Hope Hospital, Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands.
We fully appreciate the difficulties experienced by parents of 'Special Care' babies. One gets into a 'routine' of endless hospital visits - almost becoming 'part of the furniture'. Mother and baby have everything they need - then suddenly, often at a day's notice, your baby is coming home. For this reason, we take delivery and service very seriously. Breastpumps and infant care products are therefore given the highest priority for delivery - and we'll tell you straight away if there's a problem and help you to make alternative arrangements.
